Or maybe not. I think this feeling of fleetingness meshes quite well with the overall tone of the manga. It wouldn't fit if everything worked out too conveniently. This isn't supposed to be a standard isekai, after all.

It feels like too short of a goodbye for it to actually seem like one, but it matches the pace of the series, especially the last few chapters.

I like it, though. It makes sense, given that this is Frieren's story, and her perspective of time is very skewed indeed.
