For me, it's a story within a story. It doesn't leave you too much cliffhangers but it also makes you want more.

it's a perfect manga where you can feel something faint and some amount of curiosity for what's going to happen next well, the last 4-5 chapters were pretty wild tho

@redsox02 7/10 prob a 7.5/10. For me as a manga it feels unique especially with all the crap isekai fantasy nowadays but as a fantasy story as a whole it feels generic,
I can't emotionally connect to her old party since we only see the aftermath then constant flashbacks only serve to tell the reader "they did this before" to try and gives you feels in relation to the present and it stretches it, improves with the dwarf later though.( and ik memories are the point of the story but still)
, rest of the main characters feel average/bland personality wise with nothing that stands out except for the MC for obvious reasons and even there theirs issues that go back to my original point. A few other things too but for me the high score is weird where the only thing it has going for it is the MC and her past and how she reacts emotionally due to her age which is to be expected but I feel like they could've gone further or done more, but that's just how I view it. Although the story still does a good job since rarely stories engage with this aspect with a unique take also on some parts of the world building. Overall for me just couldn't connect with it, but still was an interesting read.

It's a manga for smart people 😉 For those looking for action and hype, this probably isn't for you. It feels cozy, if you think about the things that happened and try to feel it, you'll see (for me) the beauty of this manga.

I've never been so glad I've trawled through the repulsive garbage that is the majority of the manga on this site, only because of how it made me find this manga. It's been a long time since I read something this great. I hope it gets localized soon so I can own it physically.

This is literally the perfect premise for me. I can’t get enough of elves and the troupe of semi-immortals dealing with the consequences of their absurd lifespan, struggling to form bonds with regular people. Great execution too. For me it’s 10/10. If only I had discovered this earlier...

This is a heavy read. People might say that this is overrated but that is totally subjective and I can neither confirm nor disprove that it deserves its high rating.
The scenes really does tug your heartstrings and leave a heartwarming memories.

10/10 read. It went from melancholic flashback fantasy to parasyte the maximum, then went back to flashback fantasy

When the manga presents itself as pure build-up and you enjoy it, once it stops being flashbacks and time-skips and you actually get action. It makes it so much better.

@vodkavodka If you have a solution for user ratings, feel free to suggest it. Bayesian is the best solution I know of for lessening the impact of 1/10 voters.

Solid read. In my opinion, the most interesting aspect is it's main thing. That being exploring how elves mature and experience time differently than more short-lived races. Sadly, there isn't really much going on besides that. Character expressions(not just the main heroine) are a little stiff as well. Still, I'm enjoying it so far. I hope the manga stays true to concept and, even though the story progression slowed down a bit(chap. 24 is where I'm at), it eventually picks back up again with the time leaps. Even if it doesn't, the concept is still interesting enough that it is at the very least worth checking out. I give it a 8/10 for now.

I THINK THE 130 PEOPLE WHO RATED THIS MANGA AS 1/10 HAVE A BRAIN ISSUES, THEIR BRAIN COULDN'T UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE OF A NICE STORY AND A UTTERLY SHIT STORY

Ah....it hits the spot. It gives a gentle sad vibe, but there's always a slight light in it. Wistful at its finest. Reading this, i constantly wanna cry while smiling at the same time

kinda overrated but a decent read. Also i wish the time-skip would change their point of reference from when the hero dude dies to a plot point that is more relevant like when the loli mage or that apprentice dude joins. It's just really annoying to see "27 years have passes since hero-sama's death" since my first thought is "damn, they did a 27 year time-skip." Then i realize i misread it and i think "wait, what was the number last time?"

Frieren of many funerals
Frieren who leaves the dead behind
Frieren the last one alive
Frieren the last survivor

names are hard, but the reading is easy. Very, very good.
