I assume that "Tragedy" tag is misplaced, given that the raws are ongoing and while I suppose the beginning is tragic enough, it's not in that sense.
Anyway, this is nice. It isn't subtle at all and doesn't even come off as remotely convincing (like they just roll out the oldest and most generic of mistreated-child tropes with completely zero thought put into it), but that simple-mindedness in reaching for the heartstrings is conversely part of its charm.
