I don't really like the art I don't think it fits that well, it gives off a more comedic vibe. Which isn't good seeing how dark the next arc is. Great story though and glad to see it get more attention now.

I really don't know about this one, the mc isn't likeable at all. Feels very overrated. Maybe it's just me but that's a weak start.

The beginning kinda feels lackluster. The MC isn't immediately likable and it seems generic with the dead ghost that gives guidance. However, it does get better later on and the story really picks up after he clears this stage. Just give it some time and it'll be a good read.

Ok, I'll be honest - this was a pretty average manhwa at the start and the mc seemed like a petty envious bastard

But, man did that chapter 15 hit hard - that was the turning point in this manhwa for me

meh i kinda hated the mc, and frankly, i still kind of do, but he got better, at least (before, he just seemed like an shit-grade unlikeable character). i would say this is a pretty good read. worth your time if you're willing to endure the first few chapters.

I agree with all of you, at first I thought too that this manhwa was gonna be similar to other manhwa, where the story begins with the main character being a complete loser and being obsessed with the strongerst/famous person. Then finds out that their obsession was a trash person who wasn't like they seemed to be, then takes revenge and in doing so aquires a powerful skill, which then changes them to a condescending, over confident, op character that doesn't change and ends up becoming a complete asshole through the story (I've seen it, when I was hunting for good reads, after completing/being caught up with other favorites I've read)

Well anyways, to keep it short, at first i thought this was gonna be an annoying read, but it seemed to have warmed up to me, during the part when it was coming up to ch 15(10th level bass fight).

read this damn thing completely, don't stop at the start, it gets better and deeper after a while, it's surely worth it

Let me start off by saying, the beginning is weak, it’s so weak it almost made me drop this. The mc in the beginning just seems like a retarded incel with no life and is fucking cringe, and that isn’t a good introduction. It really only starts to get good (for me) in chapter 7, an interesting and entertaining relationship between
The mc and the spirit of the sword emperor
start to form and it just adds a new spice to this manhua. In the later double digit chapter’s tho, you realise that maybe he isn’t a generic badass I have cheats mc and is actually pretty fucking pog. Just give it a read, if you don’t grow to love it, then it’s your average meh mass produced manhwa. If you come to like it like I did, it might become something to look forward to every day.

It’s a 9 for me, and that’s rare. Only occasionally can I actually be sure if something is worth a 9 or above.

Anyone else thought of the return by death theme of Subaru when mc was revived?
