Omg… I’m crying so hard this really resonated with me. I lost my dog and then my cat within 2 years of eachother that I’ve had both since I was young. I miss them so much and I wish I could have given them so much more. I don’t know if I can open my heart to anyone/anything again after loosing them. RIP Dexter & Ryder

I've been looking for this book for so long-I read it ages ago, but I couldn’t remember the title. All I knew was that it left such a deep impact on me, I even told my friend it had me feeling down for two weeks. And now, I’ve finally found it again. It’s amazing how something can touch you that deeply. I don't even have a dog tho

I used to have a very smart dog but we had to sell the house and couldn't keep him so I drove him back to the countryside for my relatives to raise him, he was very understanding and sat still the whole time. When I was about to leave, he kept running around my leg 😭. 1 year later, I came back, he seems healthy and has adapted to the countryside, although the current owner remarked that he often chases the neighbour's female dogs, which he also did back home, but I just brushed it off. 2 years later, I found out she sold him to the neighbour and the neighbour sold him "somewhere", probably the slaughterhouse. Well shit 😐. I don't care about the practice of eating cats and dogs, heck, I even participate in it, but my dog was smart, and I've grown attached to it, it's my dog. What a fucking waste!
