It's really rare that a yuri manga or anime comes about without loads of excessive side character drama. Usually I give up when the shit gets too heavy.
But I really enjoyed the character development that went through in this one. There's a lot of relateable heavy stuff going on in here, and there's a lot of self introspection as well that's really well written.
It doesn't focus on the bad crap and drag it out, it actually shows the characters overcoming it, accepting it, and growing because of it.
Also, pretty hella great representation of someone having to come to accept that they're gay. I relate to it real well.
Also props to the translation for being so dang good! I'll probably go through buying the whole thing, it was just that good.
