Honestly, not a fan of all the rushed pacing. I get the story needs to move forward but the entire round 2 just being skipped is not good. Raymond, four of the elders and other skilled players and we're supposed to just accept all of them got beaten easily?

yeah, and i also wanted to get to know more of the mtg elders but i guess the main characters had this amount of story in them, so dragging on would have only led to being drawn out unnecessarily.
also mtg duels without the character stakes would be too boring for like one or two extra volumes.
at least we'll get a story resolution for all the characters and there won't be any new threads that lead to nowhere.
