This is really getting me interested in magic, gonna check out a playing shop in the mall near me to see if they do prereleases and drafts. Plus absolutely adorning those two dynamic and rest of the cast! Knowing the author has an end in mind with that glimpse of the future and the handling of the characters thus far, I'm 100% positive this will become another one of my favorite reads!

As a Magic player that has jumped in and out of the game for 30 years, it's nostalgic for me to read this. That said, these people need to quit setting conditions on their relationships. Either people have feelings for each other or they don't. Why make the outcome of an event determine whether something is done or not. I get it, it's part of the storytelling, I just hate it is all. Real life should never be like that.
