These comments did not pass the vibe check ahahha. Yes, Saye grew up in the harem, but because she isolated herself for so long, it’s not surprising how desperately she clung to the hope of a new friend; keeping in mind the ex-fiancé might probably be the first person to show her kindness (that is around her age). If I were to put myself in saye’s shoes and was in her situation, I would ignore the signs too bc you might not know how desperate for affection people are after being closed off for so long!
And the fact that we see this in a 3RD person omniscient pov, ofc we know what the villainess will do and what she’s thinking. Saye is naive and only sees the facade that the antagonist puts up.
Just please keep these points in mind while criticising the MC 😊
