More like an uneducated 17 year old with practically no social experience. It's no wonder his personality is a bit strange. And now he has the professional experience to back up a big ego that could dismiss gentle corrections.
This is why a proper school is needed, otherwise he is just a kid with too much money and being very annoying with it.
But some people might love to see that, so maybe it is just me and my bias of rent a girlfriend.
And ch 2 makes me want to forget this title, he does not even know it is bad attitude to brag to your oshi post slapping her with lotsa money. I hope ch 3 will be good as someone said it.

it kinda explain later but not clearing duengeon will result in monster outbreak that may wipe out a town
which is why you will be seeing everyone(in WN at least) in village be really supportive of MC. cause he pretty much the village guardian angel.

Sounds like typical management. Understaff and underpay as long as status quo can be maintained evem when the worker's burning both ends of the candle. Then when it inevitably blows up, throw them under the bus for underperforming.So they recognise his efforts and ability... but just don't let him know why they're overworking and under-staffing him?
I wish the MC would take the reasonable option and sue the shit outta these guys, but these comics never have MC's do the reasonable thing.
Also, given he's the ONLY person who can handle such a dangerous dungeon, 500k a year doesn't sound good enough, he should be making at least a mill.
"We can't send in C ranks and B ranks, they'll just become a hinderance! So we'll let the only guy who can reasonably handle it burn himself out until he can't do his job!" Actual dipshits. If they know the dungeons some nebulous A/S rank difficulty, at the very least, have a couple B ranks clear out the entrance or set up a beach head into the dungeon. Thin out weak enemies and scout out the place, then send in the big guns with more info instead of chucking him into constant unknowns. Hell, even just having a couple people as porters with ammo for the magical boomstick that'll book it at the first sign of danger would be some help. To the author's credit, they got the bureaucratic incompetence by inaction spot on.

idk if i am wrong, but this is MC hometown so he just doesn't have reason to refused it. job close to home and all.

Well yes and no, hes probably the type that thinks that if I retire that will look like running away from responsibilities and would make me look uncool. Its also the whole reason hes there because he fit the bill and they can afford to send anyone else even with all their looking.
If push come to shove they would have to send someone of higher ranking or a lot of lower ranks if he , dissappears or just quits on the spot. They would also desperately try to bring him back.
