I think the mangaka is having fun with this one. The boy is Daichi. The psychic girl is young Kaguya. I think he eloborated on the idea of Daichi n Kaguya being classmate / school mate. The old man was in the last few chapters of Pansuto n there still the liking older women theme.

Chapter 16 was interesting. I really feel like there is more to Yumi-San. Is she really draining his life force? Is she even alive? What if he was just seeing her spirit this entire time?

Not sure I really like the ghost-hunting premise that this has going on. I guess the Okada wanted to switch things up because Pansuto was the least wacky manga that he has made, with very little focus on after-school club stuff or anything like that.

The pantyhose fixation of the MC has been substituted for skimpy panties, so there's another parallel. I've also noticed that other characters from his older mangas show up from time to time as little references, like the anal-obsessed club president from Sundome appears as the owner of the sex shop in Ibitsu, Pansuto, and now here as well.

All of the similarities make it really easy to get into after having just recently finished reading Pansuto. There is a nice familiar feeling even if the characters and premise are different.
