Death to the idol industry tbhthe "scandal" was she was in a photo with her close male friend from high school
Are you fucking kidding me?!
It's sad that it's realistic.Death to the idol industry tbh
Yeah, I was wondering about that, too. Seems kinda harsh.the "scandal" was she was in a photo with her close male friend from high school

Considering the idol industry standard of “a waifu must appear available until she retires”, this is actually true. Many idols have their careers absolutely destroyed just from a pic of them doing anything un-idol-like, even something as mundane as underage smoking (Onyanko Club, the first idol group, had a bunch of veteran singers get fired due to a smoking scandal IIRC)the "scandal" was she was in a photo with her close male friend from high school

Maybe at first. But part of the issue is that after an idol career, many move into acting, singing, or just being an influencer. Those people maintain many of the same fans with relatively unchanging expectations.I wonder if it's easier for closet gay/lesbian idols to work like this, because they can just pass off everything as being cute for the fans.
The sad thing is, that is a common problem with the idol industry.the "scandal" was she was in a photo with her close male friend from high school
