Is there even anything t like about this so called "heroine"?

Every single act of her in this chapter just made me dislike her, even knowing she has a good reason to dislike the MC does not change that.

Well, I mean, 'she' HAD him killed violently. He's been in recovery for a year and a half to the rest of the world, lying low. She sees him and he apologizes and publicly bows his head.
?
I think you misunderstood something. His death he was remembering was one that's gonna happen in the future.

What?? The main lead MUST have an ulterior motive. Because there’s no way any normal person would forgive that quickly, if they don’t explain why she’s doing this, then this is 100% being carried by the awesome art.

Probably noble yap is about to happen in the next chapter?

We'll probably get the big reveal that she is either 1. Also a reincarnator or 2. Not actually a nice and sweet girl but maybe a mastermind that somehow baited him to do that so she could have something to keep his household in check? But since he has changed she might be trying a different approach?

Because I do NOT see her forgiving him that easy for trying to sexually assault her with a knife.
so...'he' TRIED to rape her? since the 'Tried to taint her'. What? now that she sees the change of heart, all's forgiven?
She has to be plotting something. No way she changed her attitude towards a dude who tried to rape her so easily.
I also doubt she’d forgive him so easily, but we should consider a few factors. First, in the previous chapter, she read an article about him arresting criminals, which might have sparked her curiosity. She could be trying to gauge his sincerity, unmask an act, or have other motives we haven’t seen yet.

Also, it’s important not to judge characters in a medieval-like setting solely by modern and likely western sensibilities. For the countess, forgiveness might be politically or socially strategic. As for the maid and servants, their deference likely stems from their lower position in the social hierarchy. Historically, it took extreme events - starvation, systemic injustice, or shifts in morality - for people to rebel against those in power. In the very first chapter, the maid rushed to aid the original Weiss after he was beaten, implying she cared for him even then, despite his abusive behavior.

And even in modern times, people often give abusers not just second chances, but third, fourth, or even more. Abusers are forgiven repeatedly for reasons ranging from emotional attachment to societal pressure. Politicians’ crimes are overlooked by loyal supporters, and celebrities’ misdeeds are excused by adoring fans. It’s not always rational or consistent; human behavior is complicated.

The world isn't quite so simple as "I wouldn't forgive a guy who tried to rape me, so a character that would do that is badly written."

Rant over. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Just when I thought we get something new we get the generic all the main heroines now like me and I'm a good guy who won't interfere with the story while interfering.

On page 20 it's: Cynthia... Daughter of Countess(Countdom) Violetta...?

Cynthia doesn't hold the title of countess herself.
Though some context is missing so can't say if the current head is really a countess or was simply meant to state their countdom so wrote both.

This manga has a lot of potential, but it’s gonna be annoying if he legitimately never has to actually pay for the things the previous version of him did.
People forgiving him so instantly like that makes me start to wonder if they actually enjoy it or something.

At the very least you could throw in a line something like “I can tell from your eyes you’re like a completely different person” or something like that

Are you sure that the translation on page 10 is accurate? Because the text bubble is aiming squarely on Weiss
(or did he go into third person out of nowhere?)

yea man even I'm not too sure bout this. the dialogue used "やめて" which is informal and upto this point, weiss has only used
formal lang towards milk like how in the same page, he used ”ごめんなさい" which is then again formal so I thought it was said by Lilith rather than Weiss. But idk i may be wrong :aquadrink:

"もう木剣で鼻の骨を折るのはやめてぇぇぇ‼"

This is clearly Weiss speaking. There's nothing weird about him screaming "やめてぇぇぇ‼" instead of "やめてくださいぃぃぃ‼" when he's scared shitless.

And striking that pose while not saying anything seems to be more in line with Lilith's character.
