She does but her view on Weiss has changed alot and now, along with Cynthia, they're trying to get Allen and Weiss to play nice with eachother. Cynthia keeping Weiss in check while she's doing so for Allen.

Duke is a fellow noble and Shirley's childhood friend who is also a childhood friend of Allen by extension. Shirley comes to accept Weiss in part because of how Duke acts around Weiss, since she knows Duke wouldn't associate with a bad person.

you have to remember Shirley knew of the old Weiss because she is a noble and knows exactly how nobles act. The only reason why he's so different now is because MC was reincarnated into Weiss' body and took over. She has not interacted enough with him from before school started to know that he has since changed like how Cynthia and lilith have.

Bit confusing because in that previous chapter Darius the magic instructor said he trained Allen. Is this a retcon or did Zevis trained Allen then stopped after being a butler and Darius took over? Though i think it would make sense Allen still made it into the school off the recommendation of both Zelvis and Darius to pass the entrance exam even though he got beaten by Weiss.

they both did. Zevis started Allen's training but Darius took over later on. it's part of why Zevis was brought into questioning regarding Weiss' growth since he knew of Allen as well

On page 6 it should be "I'm in invincible state right now so let's calm down and talk it out" instead of "I'm completely defenseless...". You see, the barrier here isn't an actual barrier magic but it's the kind that Japanese kids say during play that usually goes like "I'm using barrier now you can't attack me" "O yea? Eat this barrier crusher attack then!" "Not so fast. My barrier are actually the super duper mega ultra unbreakable barrier so your attack still get negated!!". So the joke here is that that one kidnapper trying to use children logic just because he's fighting against a kid.
