This girl has lied to me ever since first meeting her. Let's tell her my big secret nearly no one knows.
This might have been lost in translation somewhere or better explained in the novel? But nonetheless; It's
because she lied and puts on an act all the time, that he wasn't so sure what he can trust anymore when it came how she was in front of him. So he told her his secret, (which sooner or later would have to be explained anyway, given the close proximity of his modern stuff in the house), in order to gain her trust, and make her discard her mask, so to speak...and
now she's finally being true to herself and others. This was the point where her character was (slightly) more favorable and less hated by readers. She still wants his dick and resources of course, but she's not hiding it under a false pretense anymore. And Kazura has wised up to her desires and intentions by the end of the chapter, so he's better equipped now to not fall for her.

This is a bit different. If she was lying for only personal, monitary gain (i.e. being a "gold digger"), then she can just fuck off. But she was mostly doing it for her territory, her family, and herself (in terms of having someone you at least like be married to you). None of it was done explicitly to hurt/use MC with malicious intent towards MC. It is also a common practice for nobles to wed family members off to influential powers in order to maintain/gain their support.
Indeed, hence why (Page 20-21/Image 36-37) Kazura found it difficult to accept the different upbringing norms in regards to marriage on a personal level, with marriage being more like a business transaction in the olden-days.
