>Harry Dong is the new whitepod

NO GOD! NO GOD, PLEASE NO, NO, NO, NOOOOO.
ehh, I wouldn't go that far. Just like how a mechanical engineer pretending to be a scientist on TV once said..."dank memes are like trolling, it's is on a spectrum." I like to think I fall closer to the middle with tasteful pop culture references, rather than on either side of the deep ends.

Also, homo-humor comes up a few times in this series, without me having fun with it whatsoever.

I'm a big fan of these joke panels outside of the main content. Then again I found whitepod really funny too so whatever. Just you do you man. I'm liking it.

@Harry_Dong

Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy jokes like what you done here, but not the ones at the level of commenting on each page/panel trying to be funny.

Hmm... increased mana/nutrient/energy/life force density from Japanese products? It's going to be pretty convoluted and/or complicated to explain or science out the causes. Could take a while and be after things get even worse.... Hmm.....

Yeah, I don't do that type of shit, and also personally don't like seeing it in manga and novels myself. Breaks the immersion, ya know?...that's the whole point of reading manga isn't it..for the escapism? The only comments I put are if they're relevant to the story that contributes to it, and any jokes (if any) will be at the end, and not in the pages themselves--as well as anything else. That's the reason why I don't even put credit watermarks, links, or other things like that on the pages themselves, like I know some groups like to do...because my OCD ass can't help but focus on that when I see it.

Wow. Now that was a well crafted twist. It was right there, we saw how strong they were lifting that water wheel.

I don't understand why it's his fault for leaving? He's not a fighter. I can understand blaming himself for helping improve the village and make them richer targets, but the reasoning he used in this chapter doesn't make sense.

Kazura blames himself because had he not accepted the request to help Arcadia and left to meet the land lord in the first place, then
when coming back to the village alone without him, the two of them would not have had an escort of 4 heavily armed cavalry soldiers guarding 2 VIPs to Kazura, their benefactor, with a (mostly empty) wagon... A wagon which the bandits mistook for food-aid from the city, which was their primary objective during the current ongoing famine. A wagon requiring heavily armed guards/extra security....not too many reasons for soldiers or officials to visit a remote village during a famine when taking that into account, other than to either provide food or collect taxes. So Kazura leaving, was the start of the butterfly effect, and the reason for his brooding while sitting on a box, before boarding the carriage. Valetta at the end was about to say that even she couldn't have predicted an attack, so Kazura shouldn't blame himself for the same.

Some more info about the bandits, either cut out or not yet adapted from the Light novel:
Highway robberies were the bandits' main modus operandi, with the village raid being an exception due to the food-aid misconception. Attempting to rape women was merely a bonus for them. So the more traffic/trips between the village and the city, the more likely the bandits would have spotted and targeted the Grisea villagers by following them behind. That was the reason why the villagers are normally armed with spears for self-defense when traveling to and from the city in a previous chapter.

Hope that answers your question and clears things up.

If an energy drink and medicine is so effective, I wonder what will happen if you use poison from Kazura's world? Instan death?

Collor me impressed. I wasn't expecting this one to be this good.
Also, ch.10 left my heart at my throat, what a cliff hanger... Nicely done. Amazing.
