I've always wondered: is Tarepanda supposed to have a canonical backstory, or what? (That is, is there only one of them, and it lives with the woman who shows up in this comic, or are they just a type of animal which anybody might find? Is Tarepanda like Hello Kitty, where all the images are of one specific entity, or are they like pikmin where they mere look and act alike but there are supposed to be lots of them?)
