Why exactly was that part so necessary to single out? They share the exact same skin tone with 99% of the people of this series, so to single it out is beyond sus.
You could have said "Two genuinely unlikable goobers" or whatever else and it'd have been perfectly fine, why immediately go for race?

i remember the series to be a long one by the comments of others, as well as some heated situations about it's first ending. but i hope the whole "crossing from another world to kill the heroes" doesn't stay the plot driver for too much longer. i'm kinda getting bored of it, even if it could induce some character and skill developments.

Because they’re both not drawn in the usual flat anime face, and the facial details fits the bill. Thought that was obvious.
