Hmmm very open ended and a bit rushed, but I'm glad it's implied that Tenga has a thing for her so the romance tag isnt completely a lie. She's pretty dense since he's basically saying that the other girl is not his princess because Norio is the princess he chose to be with and protect. I hope he can seduce her out of her misunderstandings one day 😂.

I really like this ending, didn't leave regret in mc this time.

Tenga remained true to his heart, you people most likely missed but spirit vessels were attracted to the princess subconsciously, sort of like brainwashing.
Tenga remained true to his heart throughout the story, although he did were "brainwashed" next morning after their smalltalk together when they summoned the True Princess and only remained in another world to serve his duty, nothing more.

The ending might felt rushed, but there really were nothing more to say, all spirits had vessels, kingdom had an advantage though that and summoning the real princess. This wasn't the main plot of the story, it was making a person value of oneself.

It's obvious that Kakura and Tenga relationship grew now and although she's still pretty timid, his now a bit trimmed down carefree attitude made her feel finally appreciated.

It was a good read. 9/10

Thanks for the scanlation to the very end!

That's what I feared : the same type of sloppy and rushed ending that +a no tachiichi (the previous work of this mangaka) got, a "she-is-back-poof-the-end", with most of the stuff never answered and no closure for almost all the rest.
And no care at all for most of the cast.

Guess I'll avoid this mangaka's works from now on as she/he seems to have the really bad habit of ending his/her mangas like that.

Still, thanks to the translator for sticking to your guns and translating it completly (even with this lackadaisical and unmotivationed ending).
Absolutely, I've also reach a bunch of their other works and the ending is always the same type, MC is back, poof that's the ending, sometimes mentioning stuff and generating more questions to be left unanswered.

Although there is improvement from this ending, hey at least it's not as damn rushed as the previous one alright, but that doesn't mean that it's not frustrating to see an ending like that.

I don't even know if this can actually be considered sequel, it's set in a timeline after the events of the prequel but there's no relevant connection other than the characters are apparently borrowed and somehow prequel MC is back?, really?
