Tadapi and his peers are in that advanced track, while Kurokiya and Yukiginu are in the gen ed track.

The Sirius Advanced course, known officially as the Tokubetsu Shingaku Course, or more commonly known as Tokushin Sirius, is a course designed exclusively for those students who wish to become candidates to enter the more advanced national universities.

Therefore, the aim of this course is to pass the more difficult entrance exams required of higher level national universities. Focus will begin with a look at Kyushu University, and then expand out to other national universities. Students will have eight periods of class per day for complete test preparation. Additionally, the class sizes are small allowing greater individual counseling to each student as they study and practice thoroughly through mock examinations from across the country.
