The series has a harem tag, there's art of two girls together at the start of each chapter, and the first chapter literally has all of them on top of him at the same time. What do you mean "kind of obvious"?? I assumed he would be adding them to the harem one at a time, not that we'd never see them again.
I think I'd like this better if it was just him and Koharu and no harem-y broad cast. Because honestly I think it'll be really difficult to have another girl be better than she is.
That would require her to have more personality outside of just baseball and bullying. She was written for this smaller role and with her issues resolved there's nowhere to go with her.

Yes and no. I can see a story path for most/all of them coming back, but they miss two very important girls at least.

It isn't so much as we never see them again (this is partially true), but the Web Novel is a bit weirdly paced. We might see them again, but a lot of the focus is on Sato's store members and schoolmates. Well, them and the two university girls. Sato collects feelings pretty well.
Could they come back later? Yes. The major issue is that the story has spun wheels. Maybe the Manga will be better about it if we advance farther.

So Sato's personality changed when he woke up in his body in this world. He never had a sister in the other world. The original Sato used to be a vain asshole to his sister. Our MC he lost every friend he had from his original world, woke up into a chubbier body, and found himself rather alone because Sato's original friends weren't his sort of people. His change of personality left him around his sister, who slept in the same room as Sato.
She started growing used to the new man who wasn't her brother who now lived with her. And after Sato ignored her growing affection turning into lust, she decided to rape him in her sleep. Sato, decided to take responsibility for her actions, and lied to his new parents about assaulting her instead. To their credit, they pretty much instantly figured out he was taking the fall for his sister. Sato then argued for him to be the one to live alone, and allow his sister to grow up with her parents without the issue of his presence.
He did call back exactly once to his sister, but to trash himself in her eyes. His sex friends, the university girls, were used to help abuse his sister of the notion of any attachment.
Dude, he wants to taser a girl to make her his hoe in her own home. If he does not learn or get punished for this, he will learn that he can let off easy for doing crime.
Letting him go unpunished is like making a future psychopath, anyway this is fiction.
