look at USA election
Guess we really are in the worst timeline, they won presidency, senate and congress, global depression here we go :wtf:

Worst part? Him winning is actually not even that surprising, say what you want about Republicans, but they're united in their hate of Democrats

Plus after Obama Democrats couldn't find a single good candidate and constantly focusing on how Trump is bad, also terrible job at uniting people

Honestly, in retrospect it would be a surprise if Kamala won :thonk:

Democrats are too damn soft. They aren't vicious enough in their attacks. But that is not even the biggest reason. On top of that, Republicans can be however nasty, racist, and the majority would still agree with them. Latino men voted red more than ever despite them being the punching bag ever since 8 years ago forever.
It doesn't matter how damn good a Dem candidate is. That's not what the majority of Americans want. That's very clear on display tonight.

Who's the better choice? A convicted felon who brags about sexually harassing women and criminalizing trans people, banning abortion, praising other dictators, or a woman with dark skin? America has spoken.

I can't help but find wild just how many poc and women vote for the party that hates them
"No way the Leopards' Party won't eat my face." And there's also the white worshipping in some Asian communities. I did not know it was possible to be a white supremacist without being white. The Vietnamese Americans in Santa Ana taught me otherwise.

Also, some women remind me of the story in which many women would protest outside abortion clinics, until they need one, so they go in the same clinic they were protesting to get an abortion, and then the next day they were outside protesting again.

Also, I'm probably gonna get in hot water for this. But I just felt like getting this out of my chest anyway.

Sorry mods. I might get banned for this. I'm not a donator yet.

Let's hope we get to next page before mods wake up. =w=

I think you're doing exactly the same mistake Democrats did, focusing on attacking.

Here the thing about Trump, he basically validated all their bigotry and hate, their ignorance, made it something to be proud of, it doesn't matter how much of a horrible person Trump is, who chose to vote for him knows how he is and will vote anyway, who don't like him wouldn't vote for him to begin with, so democrats focusing so much on attacking Trump just don't have much effect in the long run.

There's also other issues, a lot of this democrat focus was on racism, women rights, abortion, imigration, that did indeed win women voters, as they voted in weight democrat, but here the thing, as much shit as Trump said, a lot of his talk was on what he's supposed going to do about the economy, a lot of latino, black, asian and so on know that democrats have a point, but they still prefer to give more importance to the economy and whatever promises Trump made, which we all know won't happen.

Unfortunately male votes have been neglected due to democrats focus on social issues, so I would argue many vote for Trump because they might think he's their only option.

On abortion, I'm honestly not surprised at all, conservatives are all about hypocrisy.

Democrats should have focused first and foremost on why their side is better and what they would have done if Kamala was elected, attacking Trump is useless because people don't get surprised by any of his bullshit, just look at how things were with Obama, republicans hated him but he basically sold a message of hope, meanwhile democrats message again boiled down to "vote for us cause the competition is worse", it was never about voting for Biden or Kamala, but about voting against Trump, turns out that message doesn't work twice after democrats fucked up so many times.
