@Mr_Detective
I think you're doing exactly the same mistake Democrats did, focusing on attacking.
Here the thing about Trump, he basically validated all their bigotry and hate, their ignorance, made it something to be proud of, it doesn't matter how much of a horrible person Trump is, who chose to vote for him knows how he is and will vote anyway, who don't like him wouldn't vote for him to begin with, so democrats focusing so much on attacking Trump just don't have much effect in the long run.
There's also other issues, a lot of this democrat focus was on racism, women rights, abortion, imigration, that did indeed win women voters, as they voted in weight democrat, but here the thing, as much shit as Trump said, a lot of his talk was on what he's supposed going to do about the economy, a lot of latino, black, asian and so on know that democrats have a point, but they still prefer to give more importance to the economy and whatever promises Trump made, which we all know won't happen.
Unfortunately male votes have been neglected due to democrats focus on social issues, so I would argue many vote for Trump because they might think he's their only option.
On abortion, I'm honestly not surprised at all, conservatives are all about hypocrisy.
Democrats should have focused first and foremost on why their side is better and what they would have done if Kamala was elected, attacking Trump is useless because people don't get surprised by any of his bullshit, just look at how things were with Obama, republicans hated him but he basically sold a message of hope, meanwhile democrats message again boiled down to "vote for us cause the competition is worse", it was never about voting for Biden or Kamala, but about voting against Trump, turns out that message doesn't work twice after democrats fucked up so many times.
