Watching the Knicks vs. Pacers game 3, and the Knicks are playing horribly in the 2nd quarter. Missing 3s, racking up (offensive) fouls and turnovers.

At least I'm watching this at home, instead acting hysterical at a bar. Hopefully the Knicks wake up after halftime or else they're done.

I was frothing in front of (and with) various people during the Cubs/Reds series this weekend - they have to stop this come from behind shit and just start putting up crooked numbers right out of the gate. I swear my blood pressure runs 10 points higher during the baseball season.

That matchup is always entertaining, but if you're a fan of either team (or if it's late in the season and you need a particular result for the postseason picture), it will have you reaching for the Rolaids pretty regularly. Doesn't matter how good/bad either team is coming in, anything can happen. (Not that this is unique - there are a lot of divisional rivalries like that in MLB.)

2. Ace player(Brunson) largely on the bench due to repeated fouls.
3. Playing AWAY in a stadium that they never won a playoff game in--

--until now. Knicks somehow came back and won. They finally cracked the Pacers' playbook, thank God.

So I guess what's really bothers me now is that I wish the Knicks was up 2-1 in the series instead 1-2 because the Knicks had the chance to win game 1 but the Pacers managed to comeback late.

But hey, at least we're not 0-3. NY fans can sleep in peace tonight.😴

Gotta love my luck recently, last week I fucked up my shoulder and the muscle thats runs by your chest and connects to your arm don't know its name to the point where breathing was a pain in the ass that lasted for about a week (it still tingles but no probs breathing now) then today I twisted my fucking bad knee bring down a 20 ton piece of shit refrigerator (almost got squished ) and tmrw i gotta pour concrete at work fuck yeah

1. He had no business being in the trench to begin with - he's a truck driver.
2. He was not tied off at all, in any way.
3. He was digging below the bottom of the trench box.
Still has his job, still has 40 hours a week of make-work the company's giving him, but he's missing out on all the overtime right now.

There's a reason I got a desk job.

Ill be fine the great thing about being a mexican is that i can internalize all the pain like its nothing. also big oof on your mate yeah if he is a truck driver guy has no reason to be in the trench ESPECIALLY if hes not even gonna have some basic ass PPE but on the bright side he still has a job (for now at least we all know how fast they get rid of you once you get injured). I love desk jobs myself worked them most of my life but honestly it gets pretty boring being out in the field is a hell lot better sure you get your ass kicked here and there and the weather is a pain in the ass but so long as you got a good crew its makes it a hell of a lot better.

P.s also when i complain about being tired from work I no longer have to hear the lame ass "but you where sitting down the whole day" excuse I hated when they said that to me

Damn, I feel you. I used to a mover and they always give me the heaviest shit to move around. Sore all over end of shift only to wake up to do another project.
