It's a nice start where they recognize each other soon enough and neither have an exagerated reaction to it, but more than that, what a nice class... no one making fun of him from being from the country and integrating him on the spot. I know it's one of those "it's rare but happens often" scenarios in real life, but in manga it's just rare, so it's nice to see it.
