In the LN, romance has in fact picked up from here, as Haruki fully realizes her feelings during the Tsukinoke stay, but she has also fully realized how strong Saki's feelings are and struggles mightily with the gap between her own prior half-heartedness and Saki's strong commitment to her pursuit. Nothing is fully resolved there, but Saki makes a decision to go all-in at the end of summer, move back with the others and prep herself to join Hayato at his high school in the spring. Saki and Haruki become frenemies in the process and enter a tacit agreement to give each other a certain amount of exclusive time with Hayato.

Also, NTR-kun is surprised to find himself attracted to Hime-chan while she comes to trust him so much as to reveal to him her darkest romantic secret: the hopelessness and unattainability of her first crush. The extent of his own romantic blunders in the past comes back to haunt him in the present, though, preventing much progress between those two and wreaking havoc in the relationships of the whole group.

Raws are up to 32-1.

Hime-chan (Himeko) is the mc/Hayato's younger sister, in middle school

NTR-kun is probably Kazuki-kun, who's in the same high school as the others (mc/Hayato; Haruki; Iori; and co.)

Yep. I call Kazuki Ikki (EDIT: Kazuki Kaido in some translations) "NTR-kun" because of the damage his presence tends to create in others' romantic lives due sometimes to his own actions, sometimes to the actions of others, and sometimes to actions others impose on him.

They lived in that now-wrecked place when they were fairly well off -- before a land deal went south and they snuck off in the dead of night, never to be seen again. By this time, Haruki's mom had long-since returned to drag her off to the city where the abuse she had suffered at her grandparents' hands continued.
