Well…that was easy. They took out the world killing witch (who was actually super chill) and convinced the church that she was killed, meaning they can actually use her as a weapon against them in the future. Plus his sister is still alive

now as for the world ending, that seems pretty obvious. The dude who literally created the gods they all worship is awake for the first time in millennia. Once he eventually dies of old age, things are gonna get pretty freaking chaotic. Plus I’m sure the old gods aren’t super thrilled about how those they bless have been treated and that they’ve basically been ignored.

in another series I’m reading, once the new god diEd, the old ones that had been forgotten brought about an apocalyptic winter as punishment. That sounds fair

Main speculation was that they were father/daughter and I still think that’s the case since he kept talking about wanting to see his daughter but since he literally created the gods of this world, I can understand why they’d keep him hidden when facing off against a super deadly witch.

I can imagine that he could make up destructive "gods blessings" and they will spread as wildfire, or after his death the world order will fall, maybe the church will announce some big thing and the fake blessings will "pop" right after, making citizens rebel.
MC probably have a real blessing, so he will be able to take cover in Tenohira no matter what happens.
Oh yeah, it could even be that the ones that lose their fake blessings will loathe the ones with the real ones that will not disappear, creating a war between the two.

I think Tenohira will become the new world, which mean MC has a limited amount of time to immigrate as many people, animal, products, tools, etc. into Tenohira. I wonder if we will see a powerleveling arc/chapter for Tenohira in the future, to accommodate everyone and everything that can be added to it. OMFG I forgot to add religion to the list, but that can be solved by MC immigrating the old man who is already on the island, it's not bad since his daughter is now already apart of Tenohira, not to mention MC is also the god of Tenohira(the residents within Tenohira can't see MC physically, but they can see him interact with objects).
