Bruh, there is literally no reason for her to tear her outfit, they were in her house, and the current conflict is, its raining and the baby has a fever, how the fuck does tearing the dress fix or help anything?

Its not like they don't own baskets she could use to carry stuff, or a chance of clothes she could wear if the dress was a problem.
Time is of the essence and she can't move very well in a maid dress, so the fastest option was to make what she was already wearing more maneuverable. Why is this the only thing you're complaining about? It's such a non issue. Yall just be complaining for complainings sake.

It's unsettling how she keep calling Ars young master even tho she's supposed to be his mother. Even though she calls mc dear! And she even wears maid outfit! It feels so wrong.

I pretty sure that dana-sama in this context didn´t translate to dear, because there is not romantic relationship between kakyu and Erza yet. I think the correct translation would be master or lord.

Why does he even need to go out to make money as a merchant? He has been killing dragons for meat as long as he has been in that world. We learned dragon scales are extremely valuable. Kakyu also used being a merchant as a cover for travelling the world back in the day, gaining enough achievements to get promoted in the merchants' guild. So, he would 100% know the value of dragon scales. There's exactly 0% chance he wouldn't have collected any of them. Just go and sell some for a quick buck. No need for complicated negotiations and cooperation with other merchants.

But then again, this could be the Bakuman effect creating plot holes. Not to mention the old Japanese love for destitute heroes.
