I would've failed the one who saw the lie. i.e Yuuji.

People should take all threats seriously until it is confirmed that it isn't real. Because if one person says it is fake but it isn't, a lot of people will die.
Why should they take the threat seriously if they've already confirmed it's a lie?

You sound like the type of teacher to fail the top student just because you think they need to experience failure.

Pretty obvious it was a lie, all those who believed it fail.

"These people are crazy."

How right you are.
Like someone just screamed bomb in an airport.

You don't just start a panic and call it a test. Fucking incompetent teachers.
Talk about being spoiled by modern earth standards. First of all these arent school children, they are adults and the elites. They live in a world where monsters exist and people can die due to poor decisions. They dont have to worry about someone being trampled to death cause their bodies are enhanced with mana, they can also heal the injured with magic.

So there is no issue with what they did, it let the teachers judge how students react in a panic so they can train them properly so that when they take positions with lives at stake they can react properly

But, they literally said in the manga that people were hurt in the panic?

Also, I was more alluding to the fact that grandpa-"I call out people who want to stay lowkey in front of 9000 people"-hulk-principal was a nutjob. Because, he is.

but Yuuji did confirm beforehand that it actually was a lie, so how would you confirm that he didn't confirm it? From the teachers pov who may know that he's a scout but certainly doesn't know his methods that is.

I think they meant a scenario where someone falsely assumes that it was a lie which could worsen the situation

But that's not what happened here. Yuuji detected 0 monsters from the last chapter, and that poster went "uh imma fail Yuuji because Yuuji didn't treat it as an actual threat."

I really hope Yuuji doesn't go to class and just heads straight for the library. And then leaves the school asap. Though that might be hoping for to much. Thanks for the chapter!

Kinda funny how they all stood in the exact same formation, two metres away from each other, as if a threat could come from any direction at any second. I mean, the only ones surrounding them are other students, and barring instant teleports they're pretty safe as they are.

With Dryad and Wraith, it already is
Dryad best girl. But Wraith is pretty cute too. Slimes are cute, but not girls. Maybe.

So who's supposed to confirm it? Who there is actually better than Yuuji to confirm it, since you're arguing he's not good enough to confirm it?

But, they literally said in the manga that people were hurt in the panic?
Urge to post Clarkson meme intensifies.

These are people who're supposed to be able to handle panic situations. As in, not just not panicking themselves, but control other people so they don't panic as well.

Also, I was more alluding to the fact that grandpa-"I call out people who want to stay lowkey in front of 9000 people"-hulk-principal was a nutjob. Because, he is.
Not disputing that statement.

In our world, someone hurt can means months hospitalized, in theirs it can be fixed with potions and magic

As for princaple calling them out, yeah not sure why he did that but possible the principle doesnt care. You have your needs our academy has ours. You want to use us so we will use you

The Headmaster of the school already knows Yuuji is powerful so he wouldn't have failed him for doing nothing.
His grades have plot armor.

Also in an emergency you don't freak out and do what ever you like because that really is the fastest way to get hurt in a stampede of other panicked people. You stay calm, look for people with information and who can give orderly directions. Any body who's had an elementary school fire drill knows that much. Every office building I've ever worked in has had similar drills.

How would the Teacher know that his slimes confirmed it? And if you take away knowing with the slimes, his response sounds like he just guessed it. i.e: "I didn't think there was a monster stampede in the first place."

We're biased because we know about Yuuji. But, If another dude said that, it would've been blind luck that nothing happened. But if a monster stampede did happen, many more people would've died.
