I’m not gonna lie, the design for the merged curse members is…kinda bad. Like it’s supposed to be demonic and otherworldly but…that looks like something my 7 year old cousin would draw.
Normally I’m a huge fan of the monsters and things in this manga, but that one just looks weird. Like, the Ravager door looks cooler than that thing.
Thanks for the translation!
I'm sure it's not actually low mana cost, just compared to Hellfire of Demise and Sky Breaking Divine Thunder. I imagine it would take about 5-10 normal people to do a single casting of Dispel Ultimate and that's if you can even find that many people since I'm pretty sure Dispel Extreme is the highest known dispelling magic for the normies. And then he died, the end.
Is the bit about dispel magic being low mana cost a new thing? Or was it just ineffective against the other curses he encountered?
Not sure if I should call it an asspull or not.
but you can caught a serious case of ded when you're aliveDispel curse wouldn't have worked if they are still. . . Alive
Well, it's been shown and mentioned multiple times that while he can cast even while his MP is in the negative, doing so decreases his HP and gives him a headache, to the point of making him faint.Did they ever explain what happens when he over uses his Mana? Besides it going go negative that is.
Considering the comrades' proficiency with curses, if they merged with that poison they probably could have reached the true dragon state much faster. And that's NOT simple to handle.Makes me wonder what would have happened had Yuuji ran to the site of the big curse instead. Maybe they will all merge together, and that might make it simpler to handle.
