yesDid he seriously forget he had a slime with the holy attribute he could use to empower dispels? Wth
It's a bit different. Dispel Ultimate just went through the huge curse producing the calamity dragon, as if it wasn't even recognised to be a curse. Whereas with The curse spell they used on themselves to kill Yuuji wasn't of the same caliber (I assume they created it, whereas the calamity dragon curse they reproduced from books) and Dispel Ultimate did interact with it (make it go white, eradicate individual lab members in curse form). It's possible that spamming Dispel Ultimate could have done something, but it's also possible that he would have just been wasting his mana. Even before, with smaller versions of the curse poison cloud, dispel ultimate made some changes to the curse, but didn't ultimately get rid of it.So he successfully killed the people that were turned into a Curse Monster with Dispel Ultimate but he didn't try the same strategy against the other Curse Monsters?![]()
Well he's got so many slimes. XDDid he seriously forget he had a slime with the holy attribute he could use to empower dispels? Wth
I was about to comment the same thing. SURELY the stakes can't get higher than this.so if this is the final world ending dragon does this mean we're almost at the end?
He could just cast fireball through his highest level fire slime and infinitely stall the curse at the small critter stage. It has been stated and is generally obvious that with his mana pool that could be done indefinitely.? He explained it pretty clearly. Even if he kills them, they just reform exactly as is, and he is just wasting mana, because it doesn't deplete the curse energy at all doing it that way; it just resets and continues anew.
He's suffered problems from going too far into the negatives before, including unconsciousness. It has been a long time since then IRL as we've waited for new chapters, but it wasn't that long ago in-universe.He could just cast fireball through his highest level fire slime and infinitely stall the curse at the small critter stage. Meanwhile he could check that dragon book, try some long term moderate non-mana taxing spamming of dispels through his best dispel boosters or anything else to prepare for and/or avoid the curse reaching full strength really. Just going straight to "fuck it, I guess I'll fight a true dragon" is idiotic.
I wasn't talking about anything that'd go into the negatives. Yuuji has passive mana regen and fireballs consume next to nothing. Like I said, he's even stated himself that he could do that indefinitely. Plus the curse is pretty slow to start up and get to a stage where a fully boosted fireball wouldn't work, so he could cast it even more leisurely than in the previous scenario where he could do it forever anyway. He's suffered problems from going too far into the negatives before, including unconsciousness. You can read "My House is a Magic Power Spot" for that - she even makes heart eyes.sexy big tiddied dragon onee-san?![]()
Hellfire of Demises cannot be done indefinitely, though, and Fireballs aren't enough to stop it unless it's in the much earlier phase, and he needs to spend this time recovering so he can take it out all at once. If you didn't notice, it accelerates every cycle it gets rebooted, going very quickly to begin with but has become even faster at regenerating, too.I wasn't talking about anything that'd go into the negatives. Dispel Ultimates aren't too costly either, so even that could work indefinitely if used cautiosly enough.
