I'm not sure if that's what happened. Look at the page where 'she' is 'killed'; it clearly shows it's no longer teaf, but in fact, her.
So somehow she was able to seperate her soul and teaf and immediately transported teaf's body back to the villiage.
That's my read of it anyway.
