Now this was anti-climatic for a supposedly OP boss fight....
Especially the extra THICC plot armor in the form of "Requirements met: Heavenly Attack (cost-free OP attack) unlocked".

@anotherone Yeah massively inconsistent hp losses. He can get into massively negative mp situations and then only lose what seems to be a silver of his hp. Now that his HP is in the 4 digit range it didn't even seem like his HP bar moved after that last attack.

@Doomer of course there's the limit, if his mana got minus too much it affect to his HP... everytime he use large spells in minus mana would decrease his HP...
continuously using big spells is same as suicide....
and since he finally got skill [Heavenly attack] that skill wouldn't affect his HP while using large spells for 45 second....

I bet there isn’t even a reward for it; just like when he saved the fort town. Not that he needs it.
And it’s great that he prioritizes his monster’s safety. The slimes and ‘proud’ wolf are what help make this. No cannon fodder here.
Dryad will probably be a recurring character if she can indeed warp to any tree. Still, why does she have horns?
His blank face and odd job will only make him unassuming for so long unless the higher-ups or church somehow agree to cover for him. It’s obvious from the chapter titles he’s going to be doing a lot of traveling. Hopefully he’ll add more monsters and emotions as he goes.

why does he need to melee it at the beginning?
when he fired his spell, it went right through it and continued to be concentrated at 1 point like a lazer.
he could just continuously fire it at the same point and kill the dragon at a distance.
It seriously didn't need 2 deus ex machina, the dagger woulda sufficed.

This manga is bad yet somehow weirdly readable. Is it because other Isekai are so bad that just plain old Deux is somehow better? Or is it the sporty and adorable slimes that make it bearable? OR, maybe it's the weird art and how the MC is drawn what's probably supposed to be cool with an emotionless face and poses while instead just looking sporty and sometimes even cringe?

Help, I'm confused...

@womangadex Exactly, the pacing is very brisk and the story beats are pretty good too, for an OP MC Isekai manga, and even though there’s some Deus ex Machina in this chapter, it’s presented in an enjoyable way with nice panel layouts. Nice username btw lol
