I feel like the romance tag is unwarranted. I mean the Girls proposed to him then he dipped to have his own adventure. Literally no romantic interaction/chemistry, they're in love because the author said so. I mean if a simple proposal as children counts as romance then we need a romance tag on Dragon Ball because Cain and Silk/Teles is the same as Goku and Chichi

power fantasy alot fanfics did this kinda thing and still do its fun to read when your a teenager well this and revenge ones i should know i was once into not only those but the really shitty naruto fanfics that gave him like every power ever (also ex sasuke bashing)

Besides I don't think it's the type of manga people read for an engaging plot.

yeah, the thing that traps most readers probably new to this genre is the art which is really clean. once you've hung around the genre a lot, the plot line of this manga is honestly laughable and more predictable than a physics problem that ignores air resistance. do keep in mind that the theme of this genre is the "mc is op as fuck" and therefore can be predictable by nature but this manga in particular is the worst of the bunch by failing to create even the slightest bit of suspense/unpredictability. if the plot twists were baseball pitches, the author would be a pitching machine that throws the same pitch with zero differences over and over.
you can argue that sure, predictability and poor plot twists just mean its a slice of life, but these are clear plot twists with intent to affect a clear story (and yet, miserably fail). just read slice of life if you aren't looking for an engaging plot.

This is probably one of the most blandest, most dullest isekai stories I've seen.

If you took every single isekai trope/cliché and stuffed it into a manga onto the most boring and ignorant protagonist with the worst writing you could find, this would be the result.

I can second the Reincarnated as Mercenary witht he strongest ship, art isn't the best but it has better plot even for these novels, the MC has actual balls for once and is confident in his own stuff most of the time.

And Otomege is famous and kind of started a trend? Like Bakarina xD

I think this manga is deteriorating my brain.
I can feel my cognitive functions becoming more and more dull with each passing chapter.
This is the punishment I deserve for reading as far as I did……..

Seriously though, if the 500+ comments from other equally brain dead isekai fans such as myself doesn’t put you off about how bland/predictable/boring this story is then you might also deserve this same punishment as myself. And I welcome more people to suffer with me always.
