@welcome2atlantis That was just for the scales. The sum of the entire dragon is probably magnitudes greater. But a complete unblemished corpse is priceless. If he really wanted the cash he could auction it but only a kingdom would have the budget to buy it. Using it as "decoration" is way more valuable to the MC as a noble cus it flaunts his own power, during his debut to noble society no less. Perfect way to make an impression, and deter ill intent.

@Mogima though he probably used up more than he'd thought when remodeling the entire estate all at once so when it got to making glassware he didn't have much left and didn't recover all of it that fast.
That or he already had the furniture or the raw materials to convert into it. I imagine it would take far less energy to transform raw materials into finished products than creating mass and matter from mana/magic/energy/ex machina by itself.

Broseph, he didn't make the dragon. He just had its corpse in his item box. He made the furniture. But again, creation skills all vary wildly. If it's something where you have to visualize the materials, or the molecular structure, or certain kinds of things are easier and less resource-intensive than others. Every series with creation skills has different reasons for things being more expensive than others.
