IDK which manga you're talking about, but the two teachers' (magic and sword, and yes in Ch.6) words back then was AFAIR, mistranslated (either unknowingly or for lulz) as offering their 'help' when he's adult, while actually help as in adventuring help.

That is what I remember back then; now it's different and more coherent to the story.

Checking the original WN, the manga has covered about 3/4ths of the 1st arc.

Author's currently working on the 7th arc, and LN Vol 6 should be coming out this mid December.

Author also admits this was their 1st ever WN, so there might be some writing hiccups. But they ask for support hoping readers will get to see them improve over time.
