This is basically the beginning. If we broke it into parts, we could say there are currently 6 parts and this took us through mabe 1.5 or 2 of the 6. The series is also ongoing.

Yeah that's true. These Light Novel adaptations can't continue forever and this is actually VERY early in the series so it's a natural stopping point if that's what they've chosen. Like the anime, they can have a satisfying conclusion and tell people to read the source material that is still ongoing strong.

I don't know about a fan translation. I bought them digitally. They're on Amazon and most other book sites. This person on YouTube seems to have some audio version of a few novels. I don't know how legit this is though. Just searched and found it a second ago.
