like, ive read nearly every gender bender novel and manga translated into english, maybe you guys specific happen to read the het pairings, but i swear to god only like 15% of GB stories at most are heterosexual endings, they are almost always yuri

Same here, maybe the recent influx of GB does make some of it yuri but back then, there's barely anything between girls.
Had to make sure myself by checking some of the old backlog and I am convinced that it has rarely been a Yuri.

Especially in this kind of case, it was way too similar to Idol Pretender.

you guys always revert back to referring to the same 1 or 2 "het" GB (its not technically het if they still think they are boys btw, yall seem to be the one who dont like mental guys coming to terms with being gay).

if het GB was so common, there should be 100s of stories to refer to, but no, its always the exact same ones, every single time.

maybe 90% being yuri is an exaggeration for manga, for manga its probably around 65% are yuri, the rest are split between "het" and "no romance" (you may have seen 100s, but i can assure you, ive seen every. single. one.) if we include LNs and WNs however? yea nah, 90% are yuri GB, easily no questions asked

@930310 so out of literally 100s upons 100s of GB mangas you could only come up with 3 "homosexual" (personally, i dont find MtF Genderbender to truely be "homosexual" if the MC still considers themselves a guy, physical body doesnt relate to gender, on that note, "heterosexual" GB, majority of the time, the MC still considers themselves as a guy, hence, its actually a gay orientation, it is literally someone who is mentally a guy who ends up liking guys)

on another note, you ignore that majority of those "status quo" mangas are VERY clearly "yuri" ... sure, they arent "officially" with a girl, but the MC clearly likes girls, goes after girls etc... you can have yuri GB without the MC actually ending up dating a girl. hence my point stands, majority of GB manga are "yuri" even if they arent officially dating girls


plus, manga isnt the only medium source, LN and WN are just as popular of a medium as manga, and theres well over 2000 GB novels, majority of which are unequivocally yuri themed, my favourite GB novel right now is literally a massive lesbian harem, point is, majority of the GB stories that come out of japan is yuri themed.
