Author just got confused with the story at this time because GB with female lover is rather uncommon and tried to bait reader with this route while also checking the reader reactions.

This is a common thing to do in a GB manga where there's 2 different gender attractions.

Hey hey, I'm a knight of yuri. I'm one of those people who think "yuri is the one, the way, the only hope for mankind". But I don't believe in making a scene about straight pairings.

I'm fine with there being a lot of straight-pairing genderbender manga, so long as both characters are lovable and one of them isn't just meant to be some kind of blank cipher for an audience member to project onto. There's always the possibility something will become yuri later. Even if it's in extras or doujins.

People on Mangadex's comment sections really need to get over the mental obsession with scarcity. Someone having something they like doesn't translate to you having less of something you like. That line of thinking is poison for your soul. Besides, there's tons of yuri genderbending manga. If I could, I'd force the library of Congress to build a wing just for them. If I could, I'd want a yuri doomsday device so all of humanity can be cuddly anime schoolgirls. Those pipe dreams aren't in my reach, so I'll settle for the apparently herculean feat of getting along with het shippers and being happy when they have something they enjoy.

why does everyone keep saying yuri GB manga is uncommon? its extremely common what the hell? do you guys only read a fraction of GB manga or something? ive read every single GB manga on this entire site plus other sites and can confirm majority of GB novels are either yuri, or no-romance. its actually uncommon for a full on straight GB because the main motivation of GB in asia is to write a "gay" manga while claiming its not actually gay because the MC was a man technically. because asia has a tendency to shy away from actually writting gay things

its crazy to me that people still claim Yuri GB is rare, i find it to be the opposite, i have a hard time finding straight GBs these days

also @MidnighTea, i agree, it really bothers me when people complain that a GB isnt yuri.... the author does what the author wants, and im not a fan of yuri GB, because i like men and cant relate. but ill still read them, or if i dont, i don't complain about it geeze.

people need to use their brain, the author decided to do straight GB. the Author not writing a straight GB wont suddenly make another author write a yuri GB, thats not how it works, GB isnt a zero sum game. it either exists or it doesnt

Hey, guys, we don't know how this will end yet (and the raws are more or less over), let's not game the whole thing out just yet. I will say though, 1) I don't see much GB Yuri porn or otherwise and 2) Kyousuke seems to be here to let Hina game out her feelings. Like, 'hey, do I like guys?', 'I feel really comfortable around Kyousuke, does that mean something?' or just 'hey, I'd really like someone to tell me how fucking hot I am right now.' Also, up until recently, Kyousuke thought girl-mode Hina was a separate person, so its possible she wants someone to be a girl with without having to deal with all the baggage of being a boy before. Also possible that Yurina is putting everything on the skids and Hina wants SOMETHING, anything at all.

Also, a LOT of us are still mad about Boku Girl ok? Let's be real for a second. I wanted the yuri ending that was built up (literally had a picture of the two of them getting married from a fantasy), like the MC could admire her AND love her those aren't two mutually exclusive things. She isn't gonna magically turn into her twin or some shit.
