At this point I would be more surprised if that hero didn't kill Adhoff's family.
And although many want him to die quickly, that would be highly unlikely unless the author gave the MC some stupid sudden huge power-up. Given how fast the hero killed the rock dragon which was level B at that time, the hero's danger rank would be at least A+, or even higher. On the other hand, the MC is still only at rank B-, so he should be even weaker than that rock dragon.

My dudes, stop using a thesaurus to translate words you don't know in Japanese, I literally had to look up "turpitude" because I'd never even heard of this word before. What, "malice" not good enough for you?
What's more, if you're gonna use it, put in the effort to use it properly- the hero isn't going to "recuperate himself", he's just going to recuperate. The increase in alms (from almsgiving) isn't "consequent to" the hero's homecoming, it's simply a  consequence of his homecoming (this one might technically be correct, but using non-standard grammar on top of uncommon vocabulary simply makes parsing the meaning harder). Above all, translation is the art of conveying meaning between languages- if your translation makes the text harder to read, no matter how fancy it makes it sound, it's a bad translation!

There is A FUCKING SEA of shitty translations out there with poor grammar, sentence structure, spelling, and little to no proofreading.

This translation does all of the above properly even compared to MANY OFFICIAL translations (I'm not kidding btw, a lot of official translations have multiple stupid grammar and spelling mistakes these days).

Calling this a bad translation just because there's some uncommon vocabulary and/or sentence structure is just imo unfair and dumb.

But it's not hard to read, lol. You're complaining about a choice of vocabulary where you can mostly guess the meaning anyway. Saying that this is difficult to read... lol.

But... It's not hard to read. The early chapters had (though understandably) issues with their TL work, but these later releases have been quite consistent, clear and even fairly pleasing to the eye. If you don't know the meaning of a word, you just look it up once and learn something for the future. Thank it, instead of spurning it.

And while overly pompous or magniloquent (lol, had to) language for it's own sake can be counterproductive, those elaborate words exist for a reason --to be used. Like here, turpid and malicious have slightly similar, but still different meanings. If the original meaning describes something as turpid, translating it as malicious could be an issue.
