I don’t remember it either and he hasn’t been in the novel much since this arc (at least up till where I’m at which is volume 10)I don’t remember Forlund getting this much backstory and details at this point of the story/arc in the LN. It’s not a bad thing though.
Good to know my memory isn’t failing me, thanks for confirming.I don’t remember it either and he hasn’t been in the novel much since this arc (at least up till where I’m at which is volume 10)
Swordwinn McSword from Swordland, a proud Swordish SwordsmanSwordish people of the land of Swordland
<>Evil Technique<> Evil Shield
(how many more evil techniques are there lol and why did the technique need to be that instead of a generic skill like magic shield or magic barrier and why did this technique need to be mentioned, what makes that shield technique evil?)
"Hah! You may be Swordwinn McSword from Swordland, a proud Swordish Swordsman, but I will use my Evil Stones to make this an Evil Temple then turn all the Evil Men into Evil Evil Evil Men, and they will teabag you with their Evil Nads!"Swordwinn McSword from Swordland, a proud Swordish Swordsman
A sign of the times: I googled "nads", out of worry that young folk might not have heard the slang. (I wanted to know if they could find out for themselves.)"Hah! You may be Swordwinn McSword from Swordland, a proud Swordish Swordsman, but I will use my Evil Stones to make this an Evil Temple then turn all the Evil Men into Evil Evil Evil Men, and they will teabag you with their Evil Nads!"
Following by Fran, "Alright... This gramps is toasted!" She do actually learned lightning magic back then. This kind of confrontation makes me think Teacher should say, "Linford evil guy? Good evening. As a duly designated representative of the city of Barbora, I hereby order you to cease any and all supernatural activity and return forthwith to your place of origin or to the nearest convenient parallel dimension."
Though it could result in a giant curry monster being summoned.
ONCE I TOUCH IT WITH MY HAND AND [MEMORIZE] IT, I CAN TEMPORARILY SUMMON INFORMATION FROM THE DIMENSION OF THE [DIVINE REALMI AND MANIFEST A REPLICA... THAT'S THE <<SWORD GOD'S FAVOR>>
Last part i remember him from is the tourney that happens the arc after the arc after this arc (if i remember right). He certainly didn’t have anything in the beastkins arc or the labyrinth arcGood to know my memory isn’t failing me, thanks for confirming.
I’m in vol. 15 of the LN, and while Forlund did play some important parts in some arcs here and there, I don’t think he ever received this much details.
The author clearly put all his heart and soul for Fran, with the adaptation artist given some liberties on other characters. This does make a good collab.
