Because "evil" Basically an attribute, in Japanese and official translation of the novel it's actually "fiend" Attributte and they actually use various attributte name like fiendish, wicked, demonic, evil, etc. Some people are joking about the overused word "evil" The entire arc and I just ignore it, but since we are in the end of the arc and there's might be a lot of people actually thinking the author is so dumb for his overused of "evil".
No it's not the author, its the translation team who keep using " Evil". Like I said in the beginning it's an attribute just like fire or wind, later in the story Fran will learn the attribute that Charlotte use which very effective against fiend type enemies.

Someone mentioned that the continued use of "evil" was actually the fault of the translator since the word has many synonyms attached

Maybe its just a case of her being the protagonist but I feel like Fran and specifically the black cat race has some sort of assassination skill. It seems like she's always catching people off guard. Maybe they don't notice it because the black cat stats are so weak they die before leveling up.

Thanks for letting us know the original work uses synonyms for Evil (that makes it slightly better) but essentially its still an evil jump (?). And <evil stuff>. Its still funny, to me at least.
