Oh no, they're going to cause a slaughter by getting her back in the picture.
My granma doesn’t even write her recipes, being such a highly-functional cook…and it’s a bit hard to learn how to cook from her now because she keeps on thinking stuff’s too salty…even if we put no salt on the veggies.I am reminded of some of my great-grandmother's old recipes, which tend to have helpful steps like "bake in a fast oven until done."
Why do I feel like I've already read this chapter?
It's remarkable that: "Ruffians extort the local orphanage, after the local lord cut off their funding, until..." repeated itself enough to become a cliche / copy paste scenario.
But there was no ham or bones. It was just salt, water and handful of scraps, it was all written there.my g-ma made the most delicious ham and bean soup with nothing but a hambone and a bag of beans. it's all in how its made.
Nah... A "fast oven" is an oven stoked at high heat, much like a bread oven or grill oven.Do we need to punch some speed holes into the oven to make it go faster?
Smart play, calling in the nuclear option to blow away those who hurt children.
Cooking Gods blessing probably helps, and veggies can add different flavors to the brothBut there was no ham or bones. It was just salt, water and handful of scraps, it was all written there.
No matter how you boil it, there is no way that realistically will get enough flavor for it be called good.
And then it turns out that grandma was buying her beef from a now-dead rancher she was friends with down the road and god alone knows how much she was getting, let alone how lean it was...Carbon date and localize the paper's origin and at least you can figure out where and when in the world they're talking about 30 cents of beef, to figure out how much it'd be... XD
Well, I have certainly already read this chapter. Like, twice - the WN translation and the LN translation. And I read it twice more today, in two different manga translations. A good story, is a story that's worth re-reading.Why do I feel like I've already read this chapter?
