Why is he showing this guy so much favouritism? Giving him freebies as well as having the actual demi-god instead of a clone. He kills the other two and dicks them over further with some bias (I get the robber, but the girl too?).
Because plot armor. Author couldn't think of an actual reason.

Heck, even saying "lol, this is standard for all people who die" would have been a better explanation. Turns out there's billions of god-clones, everyone gets reincarnated to an ideal isekai, blah blah...

Instead, author just... does plot armor and says this MC is S-rank and special because... plot.

Can't wait for a character to be surprised by his cheat and he will said it's because "hardworking".

Having previous memory or high mental age, special way to level up, and cheat skills. The people in this world are the one that will never catchs up to him with hardworking.

I bet there will be a talented character that never "hardworking" and learned it from him. Even though it's common sense to "hardworking" in the aspect that you good for.

I mean, cmon, of course the same amount of efforts not equal to the results. it's already a common sense. Everyone is different and just have different talent at things. You don't need to explain it deeply.

Thanks for the effort :glee: Nice to see a different start to an Isekai but does make me wonder how the half-god messed up this bad killing three people from a different world

1. A talent that makes effort become rewarded sounds like a cool idea.
2. What a nice demi god, he sacrificed himself to fix his fucked up
3. Now let's see how this goes

Why should the demi-god sacrificed his life to reincarnate the robber? Unless that robber was actually a good guy who was a victim of bad circumstances?
Feels like there might be some tl issue? As if demigod made clones to reincarnate the others, he should have done the same to mc -> meaning he is probably a clone too and "demigod" is meant to be something like "gods clone" or "divine offshoot" or whatever. Meaning they were processes spawned to deal with the situation, and the reason they will disappear is because the task is fulfilled?
This theory would also explain why mc would suddenly ask "as for demi-god, what will happen to you from now on?", which is something you would never ask unless you expected something in particular to happen to them. Which you wouldn't expect from simply knowing he's a demi-god?

As for the robber, they are pretty much always victims of bad circumstances.

also:
in the past year, when I used up mp to 0 it increased my max mp
wut? Why was that only true that past year, as opposed to something he found out the past year but that will stay true?

A demigod giving preferential treatment to MC wouldn't be something new in isekai stories. And even though MC's question sounds a little weird (maybe because of TL's choice of words), why would someone expect that something would happen to the demigod - clone or not? As for the demigod in front of MC being a clone would be really unlikely, not only because of his whole "will likely to come to an end" explanation, but also because the clones has so much lesser capabilities it wouldn't even be able to explain things properly.

Maybe he hasn't done that yet this year? Or maybe it's just a very early new year.

"welp, guess I'll die for no reason" isn't particularly preferential treatment though. It's just unnecessary waste (when a clone could be made to do the exact same thing and let original live - with no difference in results!).
Where did the assumption that clones can't explain things properly come from?

That's what I thought too when he said that he would likely die after reincarnating MC. Though maybe he would end up still alive, because he used the word "likely"?

The demigod said that?

So the god died by letting the Mc reincarnate? That's pretty interesting. Still feels like I'm watching the story unfold on a far away TV screen through a glass window. Not sure exactly what it is, but I don't feel connected to what's going on at all.

What exactly is the downside supposed to be? He gains +7 attributes on level-up but needs 3x exp, compared to normal level-up +2 attributes per level. His stats will increase 1xpoint faster than normal, levels won't matter. If he wants to compare his level, he can just multiply his current level with 3...

Zeke and Maria are magic oriented, how come Ike is physical oriented?

Is it that the stats and skills tendency weren't hereditary?
