Nevermind, I think the Goblin Slayer answers it. They just keep receiving titles, but the bar always goes up.

Same notif spawned questions for me too, but different ones: how can you struggle against the boss of a dungeon appropriate for beginners, if you are a top10 magician in your main element?

Just a uneducated observation, but I would say that a bit of nudity wouldn't need any special tags, unless that is that nudity was accompanied with sexual themes.

Yes I know most western cultures are made up of closet perverts that like to wear the mask of the upstanding prude. But that doesn't mean this case study of a woman's form is a thinly veiled piece of fan service...

Yeah I also think that people are really devaluing the tags by applying them on anything that contains the slightest amount of nudity, or even a single sex-scene.

Like, I intentionally filter(-ed because I had to disable it for the reason above) out anything tagged erotica (into another in-page "tab" by using a userscript I have written myself) from the update-feed, so I don't get it in my face all the time. And yet the fact that everything gets the "erotica" tag slapped on it means lots of mangas I enjoy suddenly disappear from visibility for me. To the point I had to undo that "filtering-out from regular list" step, ending up still having actual erotica pushed into my face even when I don't feel like it.


Nudity is not erotica. A sex scene is not erotica. Not even an explicit sex-scene with actual nudity suffices to make something into erotica. Erotica is erotica.

ps: All that said, this manga does give me strong erotica vibes for some reason. Already did at the very first chapters. No idea why. But I would not be surprised if - once mc has grown into puberty and the (first few) heroine(s) has gotten properly introduced - it ends up being one with some smut every couple chapters.

Yeah, it does seem as if everyone has gone a little overboard with the tags. Granted a lot of it should still be suggestive, but a lot of the current "erotica" sure has a disproportionate number of non-romantic chapters for what they are supposed to be.

I can barely accept the wind one, as MC have a massive mana pool he can spam them with ease, but in the top 10 in the world at not even 10 years old only because he can spam simple magic, the author exagerated.
And the other one is even worse, you telling me that no other adventurer is better at killing goblins? In a world with titles and a clear way to get them is obvious that many adventurers would do their best to get it, and they would have many years of experience and high levels with higher stats.
Is too much, shoudl have been something liek wind wizard that the top 100 mages can have and goblin slayer, for beating the boss almost on his own, and would have been a tier lower.
Even if the title is for the number and not qulaity of monsters of one type killed I storngly doubt MC would be the one to get it.
Is stupid.

The mangaka sense of storyboard feels quite jarring. Like really jarring cut between scenes with no sense of transition. It also felt like there were mandate for certain amount of story and the mangaka didn't or couldn't fit them all into the allotted pages.
