From the previous chapter and chapter 13, Victory Leo staged a coup to become Duke of Sereance (because Ellie had the inheritance right to the title), sold the former duke Burns Leo (Ellie's father) into slavery (to the marquis of Carmel), and founded the Sereance Royal Academy (to which every beastman attending Lister Academy at the time transferred).
