Funny how in the WN, it was described that Rimuru and Hinata really understands each other and is able to communicate with just subtle gestures. Kinda sad that little detail didn't translate well into this spin-off.

Also in the WN, it had a lot of hints on this two pairing but seems like the author changed his mind halfway through and just shoved Hinata into a corner of forgotten characters.
