Why do people use words that nobody has heard of before, "concord"? "accord" is actually a better choice and a word that im sure everyone is familiar with. So how in the heck was "concord" chosen?

Thanks for the TL, its just something you see every so often, various TL groups choose the weirdest words sometimes, like their not actually familiar with English, which doesn't seem to be the case here, but I still don't understand the word choice.
