Idk, we've heard from someone who asked some kodansha staff that they had some tolerance for scans as long as we didn't make money out of it, one of the two reasons we didn't ask for any donations for chapters (the other being avoiding internal conflict over the money, and i'm sure we could have gotten a lot.)

Aggregators will pick it up, and fighting against a company that can release it at the same time as japan is kind of pointless, we would need to find leakers of the magazine and none of us really want to bother doing that. Though, as said in the announcement, we'll pick it up again if k-manga miserably fails

Hearing how it is region locked makes me wish that they would fail in a grand display, because making your material only viewable in certain regions is absolute dog shit, of course those that know how to set their VPN to change their region registry can get around that (I'm not one of those VPN users that knows how to change their region, or how to tell what region subject matter is locked to). The need to pay for the chapters is less egregious for me, despite not having a stable income that could reasonably afford to maintain such actions, my only wish is that the Author/Mangaka gets their fair share of the income (Seriously, they barely get a fraction of what their work is actually worth, even excluding these free streaming sites).

Give it time, it would be insane for Kmanga to NOT expand outside of the US once they get things stable and all figured out. At a bare minimum it would be really short-sighted of them to not expand out into all of the English reading countries out there... needing to translate all of their catalogue into like Spanish or something is one gigantic undertaking and they would need to take their time doing it, but English? When things are already being translated into English for the US release? Yeah, it'll have to come to other countries.

Will just take some time, be patient!

Given that Tempest has dropped this because of K-Manga, we'r probably not going to see any of that for the next year or so when K-Manga inevitably goes under and we get our Fan TLs back to working on it, hopefully as close to the quality that Tempest has done to this point.

I don't think it was that at all, but the fact that he indirectly said it would be a pain in the ass having multiple women openly compete for your affections and have to deal with the internal politics (managing relationships and all the stress) of a polygamous relationship. I took it as the girls taking that into consideration and instead deciding to fight for his affections behind his back so it doesn't bother him. I mean, our MC is probably denser than a neutron star, but the girls in his harem genuinely put his well being and desires first (when it makes sense).

I think she might have been asking if Rimuru was ok with women fighting over a man, to which he basically said it was fine. She then said she'd keep that in mind and right afterwards Shuna & Shion starting getting tense with each other over Rimuru.

I really never know whether to be sad when an official translation comes out because it means it puts up some more barriers to access, or really happy because it makes the content more main stream and advertisable on official channels and easier to support.
