Shouldn't there be an "end" tag attached to the chapter link, if this is the final chapter? I found a number of other mangas that have "ended", but lacked a clear notation of the chapter being the finally, and the Publication Status is referring to the manga as a whole, not what is on MangaDex, making that not be a clear indicator on its own.

The problem is that the previous chapters don't have any volume markings. If I wanted the "end" marking, I would have to specify volume 2, chapter 13, but that would list the chapter at the beginning for some reason.

So this is the end huh. Is there any extra / omake ? checking bookwalker says there is kakioroshi but idk what that is about. Thanks for the TL and for finishing this after many years in limbo.

Not one that I could find. I would definitely be interested in translating that, but the place I bought the chapter from didn't have that.

What I like on the whole manga is the body or Ego transfer to a demon was a good story concept. Whoever translated this manga, thank you !!

Kakioroshi is like Skeb, the author is open to creating more stories for 💰 or possibly extras for manga vols that havent been printed yet

But knowing this is just 13 ch it probably won’t get serialized as a volume w/o serious financial backing

So the evil god wasn’t bad. He just wished to help the people getting attacked for their ore and when they wanted his power through the contract he overdid it and they became drunk/mad on his power, or at least the king did. And when he saw what happened, he couldn't do anything about it. I mean maybe it’s the fact that it’s a “contract” so they weren’t able to break it…? Or something else, basically the gods have certain rules they go by in how they can interfere maybe.

The reality is that this story probably got axed and that’s the reason why everything got rushed.

as you already said there are so many plot holes and so many questions left unanswered.

Hiromi is now immortal? ,How? ,“Because she used her power to much”? ,When did she do that?, why did she do that? , what did the gods do?

They did mention earlier that her transformation does something to her body. I thought it just destroyed it but maybe it was that?

I'm glad I read it, very thankful for the translation, and it's sort of a bother to read. The mood, concepts, and most art are great. The focus on souls of kindly mindf***ed demons was excellent body horror, made logistical sense, and so made Zehu-Aki's thought process memorable. However it's also choppy, abrupt, and has cluttered panels packing in as much information as possible. It's more of a josei thinkpiece than a josei drama.

Looking at the author's other works, it's not the first time they wrote a plot this length. Despite being an original, it feels like a barebones novel adaptation because it's so detailed and cluttered. This is going on my favorites list since it'll be easier to read again when I have lower expectations. Guess I'll check the author's other works~🎶

All things considered this was executed well. It had a beginning middle and end and a real ending.

Granted it was a speedrun type story, that blazed through everything, and it shouldve/could've been 2-3 times longer with proper pacing.

But it didn't leave me hollow feeling like some speedrun adaptations do.

Probably it's an extra in digital ver. only like bookwalker, since at bookwalker, kakioroshi start at page 161 and the total pages for the vol is 188. So there is extra of something at the end. Maybe post ending, maybe just drawing, etc.

From what I saw during the moment with the gods, they were remodeling Akiyuki's body to serve as the Contractor and Vessel for the contract, and from the snippets from the villagers I think that the remodeling was in the Evil gods image (similar horns, and same number of arms).

my theory is that it was a "final form" that the author really wanted to show off, but never got the chance to

I honestly like the way this ended,

Was it perfect? No.
But i just like that the story was actually pretty good, and i just really like comfy endings, Akiyuki and Hitomi living together in a village, while taking care of small demon children?
I just really like that they just seem to have a good ending together, as well as the prince too.

Also Akiyuki has 4 arms! Must've been weird at first.
